Re-engaging boards with interactive strategy designChallenge
This foundation was managed with volunteer staff which can be tough as they can lose momentum without someone elevating the energy and creating ways to engage. The challenge here was to re-engage the board in a meaningful way so they could champion a new initiative in a powerful way.
Solution
Because this Foundation had no working committees, it was important to incrementally build their knowledge base around a new initiative. Small, well planned storytelling with actionable steps allowed the board to internalize and be promoters of a larger movement.
My Role
Provided strategic direction to the Board of Directors posing challenges, co-creating solutions, mapping out a plan of execution, content creation, design lead, and executing all phases of the project.
Outcome
An engaged board that actively raises support and provides it.
